Dr. Race Mathews
Race Mathews is a Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Monash University and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University. He was previously chief of staff to Gough Whitlam as Leader of the Opposition 1967-72, a federal MP, a state MP and minister, a municipal councillor and a board member and chairman of the Waverley Credit Union. His ministerial portfolios included Minister for the Arts and Minister for Police and Emergency Services1982-87, and Minister for Community Services 1987-88.
