Tony O'Shea is Chairman of the Co-operative Federation of Victoria Ltd (CFV). He was first elected Chairman at a board meeting on 9 October 2002. He has been involved in the Credit Co-operative movement in a variety of roles; as a Director, Secretary to the Board, Credit Controller, Marketing Consultant, etc.
Tony is the CFV's delegate to the Co-operative Council of Australia Inc.Tony is the delegate of the Avoca District Co-operative Ltd
Tony is keen to foster renewed links between Credit Unions and other Co-operatives and maintains that a strong Co-op Federation is essential to the good health of the Co-operative movement.
He also believes that we need to accelerate progress towards a National Co-operatives Act, and closer co-operation with other State Federations or equivalent bodies.
